The Atlanta's Top Perfumer Grant Pitch
The Top Perfumer Competition was created to celebrate creativity in fragrance while building real opportunities for businesses within Atlanta’s growing scent community.
In addition to crowning Atlanta’s Top Perfumer, we are expanding the experience to support fragrance-related businesses through the Atlanta’s Top Perfumer Grant Pitch — a live, audience-powered pitch competition where one business will receive a $500 grant!
This initiative allows fragrance entrepreneurs to introduce their brands to a highly-engaged audience while competing for funding designed to support business growth and visibility.
Unlike traditional pitch competitions, there are:
- No judges
- No pitch decks
- Just one minute to tell your story
The audience votes live, and the winning pitch receives the grant.
Eligibility & Timeline
The pitch is open to fragrance-related businesses located in the Metro Atlanta area, including brands in perfume, home fragrance, aromatherapy, candles, scent-based wellness, and related industries.
Application Deadline: March 31, 2026
Pitch Participants Announced: By April 5, 2026

Who is eligible to apply?
The grant pitch is open to fragrance-related businesses located in the Metro Atlanta area. Eligible businesses include those in perfume, home fragrance, candles, aromatherapy, scent-based wellness, and other scent-focused or related industries.
To qualify, the business must already be operating (idea-stage or pre-launch concepts are not eligible), and either the business or its founder must reside within the Metro Atlanta area.
Do I have to be present at the Top Perfumer Competition to pitch?
Yes. You must present live at the competition in Atlanta on April 26, 2026.
How many businesses will pitch?
A limited number of applicants will be selected to ensure a high-energy experience. Businesses will be invited to pitch at the live event after applications close on March 31, 2026.
Can more than one person for the business be part of the pitch?
Yes, as long as it fits within the business' allotted 60 seconds.
Can I be a sponsor or vendor and still participate in the pitch?
Yes. Businesses are welcome to participate in multiple ways — you may apply for the grant pitch while also serving as a sponsor or vendor at the event.
Being selected to pitch is not required to be involved in the competition. Even businesses that are not chosen as pitch participants can still gain valuable exposure, connect with a highly targeted audience, and position their brand within Atlanta’s growing fragrance community through sponsorship or vendor participation.
Do I need a pitch deck or presentation?
No. This is a one-minute verbal pitch only — no slides allowed.
Who chooses the winner?
The audience votes live during the event. There are no judges.
Do I need to buy a ticket to apply or pitch?
No. Selected pitch participants will receive complimentary entry to the event (one per business).
Can new business ideas apply?
No. Applicants must have an existing, operating business. This opportunity is not for business ideas or concepts.
